Prince Devro’s father has littered the river with bodies, and now the council plots to rid the kingdom of Viguran of this warmongering king. But that is Devro’s father, and even as his illegitimate son, he wishes to save him. He must rally depressed knights, tired commanders, and reclusive lords to join his side and reach his father before the council tightens their grips around the kingdom.

A Roar of Strength
The king is dead. Now there are two. Devro fights his uncle, Ultiir, as they leave behind blackened ruins and slaughtered enemies. Both searching the kingdom for allies, some more unexpected than others. While Devro deals with the horror of a dead father, Ultiir must take it upon himself to keep his throne safe from even his closest allies.
In the South, Prince Bertin is being escorted by the elven fighters who butchered his friends. He must choose whether to run to safety or stay and enact his revenge. But seeing the elves live their lives will make it his hardest choice yet.
While in the North, a beast has awakened. Prowling and attacking. Sir Raimund, now a prisoner, will need to figure out how to get home. If his home is still there. The shining orb continues beating; trees are twisting and dying; people are entranced and disappearing. Not only is the forest at stake, but so too is the world, and someone will have to save it.

King Devro sits in a dungeon. His uncle, Ultiir, now the sole ruler of a war-torn Viguran, must choose whether family is more important to him than the threat of another claimant. Ultiir must face Devro’s allies as they march on the capital, and bring the war to him.
In the South, Prince Bertin has witnessed a massacre. He is not himself anymore. Alone, slightly crazed, Bertin must figure out how to get back to his home, if he even knows what home is anymore.
The forests of Viguran are teeming with light. The shining orb continues its quest to destroy all. Sir Raimund will learn he doesn’t have a choice; he must commit to stopping the merging of worlds before his friends and foes are destroyed.
